Plastics technology

Working all day in front of machines and production lines? Not at AGRU. As a plastics technologist, you can expect a dynamic work environment with diverse tasks. Products and applications are constantly being developed, enabling new uses of materials and technology, which makes the profession particularly exciting.

Plastics process engineer

An apprenticeship in fast-forward? As a plastics processing technician, you are valued for your precise work. Preparing raw materials, adjusting machines to fit each product, or coordinating part constructional drawings and other technical documents and releasing them for production – your work environment is as diverse as the use of plastics.

Toolmaking technology

Do you have a knack for craftsmanship? As a Toolmaking technician, you are an expert in injection molding and extrusion tools used in our machine park. You assemble mechanical parts, assemblies, and components, maintaining and repairing them as needed. Additionally, you create manufacturing programmes for CNC machine tools.

Machining technology

Are you accurate and reliable? As a machining technician, you produce metal and plastic components. You use exciting cutting and forming processes. You use traditional machines or CNC systems to machine parts, plan operations, select materials and check the quality of finished parts.

Mechanical engineering technology

Dual apprenticeship in metal technology and plastics processing technology

Are you a true all-around talent with a passion for designing? Then the dual apprenticeship in metal technology and plastics processing technology is exactly right for you. This training combines the knowledge and skills of two exciting professions, allowing you to independently create the necessary tools, moulds, and assemblies for various injection moulding and extrusion machines after your apprenticeship. Surface technology

Optical improvement? At agru, your training offers more. As a surface technician, you learn all the production processes involved in surface technology and gain experience in electroplating and powder coating, logistics, the laboratory and quality assurance. If you choose this training, you can also choose from three specializations: mechanical surface technology, electroplating or powder coating.

Process technology

Process technicians know what to do! Your training will teach you how manufacturing equipment works and how to optimize the products you make and the manufacturing process. You take product samples on a regular basis, check them with specific measuring methods, and plan work steps, tools, and procedures. It's important to be able to understand wiring diagrams, maintenance schedules, and technical documentation in general.

Office Clerk

As an office clerk, you have everything under control. With your calmness and organizational skills, you will keep the day-to-day business running smoothly and complete your tasks independently and reliably. Depending on the focus of your tasks, you may work in a secretarial, accounting, human resources, brokerage, purchasing, sales, or distribution office, where you will be able to demonstrate your talent for working with colleagues and computers.

Operational logistics

You are communicative and enjoy working with customers and colleagues? As an operational logistics clerk, you are the link between suppliers and customers. Inventory management is a particularly important area for industry, where your responsibility is to minimize delivery and storage times as well as delivery costs while keeping an eye on everything. Together with other specialists in inventory management you will increase the company's efficiency and get to know other departments such as purchasing, receiving, production, export, and finance.

IT technology – system technology

IT is your passion? As an IT technician, you set up, install, configure, test, and maintain electronic data processing devices. This includes computer hardware and related peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners), operating systems, networks, interfaces, and bus systems. You replace hard drives in storage systems (NAS, SAN) and upgrade PCs with RAM, graphics cards, and network cards, as well as install various software.

Electrical engineering systems and operations technology

Electrical engineers are ready for any challenge! In your training, you learn how various electrical and electronic systems function and strive to improve their performance and reliability. That's why you regularly conduct device inspections, use specialized measurement methods, and plan repair and maintenance work. It's important to be able to understand circuit or maintenance plans as well as other technical documentation. You are the driving force behind safe and efficient electrical engineering!
