AGRU welcomed numerous customers and interested parties at trade shows around the globe this year. Highlights included sustainable, plastics technology solutions for seawater desalination, aquaculture, heat storage and for the transport of green hydrogen.
The MENA DESALINATION conference took place in Abu Dhabi in March. AGRU presented desalination solutions for drinking water applications together with its sales partner BMC Gulf. In May, Robert Relou presented the extensive product portfolio at the BIG 5 CONSTRUCT ETHIOPIA, the largest construction trade fair in Ethiopia. After a four-year break due to the pandemic, INTERALPIN was once again a key event in April. Innsbruck became the center of the ropeway and alpine technology industry for three days, attracting over 35,000 trade visitors from all over the world.
The INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DESALINATION FOR THE ENVIRONMENT in Cyprus in May provided AGRU with a platform to present solutions for seawater desalination. In the same month, Johannes Derfler presented media-resistant AGRUCHEM piping and semi-finished products made of fluoroplastics at the MIDDLE EAST SULPHUR CONFERENCE in Abu Dhabi.
Our Chinese subsidiary, AGRU Pipeline Technology, presented its range of concrete protection solutions at the CHINA CONCRETE EXHIBITION in Nanjing in June. In the same month, AGRU Pipeline Technology was present at the leading Chinese environmental technology trade fair, IE EXPO in Shanghai, captivating trade visitors with our sustainable AGRU solutions.
As always, one of the highlights was the annual ÖVGW ANNUAL MEETING in Innsbruck in May.
In September, a total of seven relevant trade fairs took place.
The first was the BIG 5 CONSTRUCT in Lagos, Nigeria, where Robert Relou presented AGRU solutions for drinking water supply. AGRU Technology Pte Ltd. Singapore, presented the AGRU product range at WATER INDONESIA in Jakarta.
The ICG INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON GEOSYNTHETICS in Rome provided a platform to introduce the new HTR geomembrane to a professional audience. On this occasion, AGRU shared the booth with its long-time German distributor G2. AQUACULTURE EUROPE took place in Vienna, where AGRU presented thermoplastic solutions for aquaculture. The SYMPOSIUM GRABENLOS took place this year in Gmunden.
For the first time AGRU participated in a hydrogen fair and presented its products for the production and transport of hydrogen at the HYDROGEN TECHNOLOGY EXPO in Bremen. Finally, AGRU was also represented at CENTRAL ASIA PLAST in Almaty, Kazakhstan, where the company exhibited at a joint stand of the WKO.
