The AGRU Tech Center is the central training and competence center of the AGRUWELDING product line for plastic welding under real operating conditions.
With an exhibition area of 550 m² and additional functional areas of 100 m², the AGRU Tech Center offers suitable conditions for training sessions, maintenance courses and technical exchange.
As a training and exhibition facility, the Tech Center provides hands-on training and technical demonstrations for operators, technicians, service personnel and end customers. The focus is on the correct application of AGRUWELDING technology, reproducible weld quality and preparation for real project and service environments.
The AGRU Tech Center conducts welding demonstrations, welding training and maintenance courses within the scope of the AGRUWELDING product line. Training covers the full range of plastic welding applications and focuses on both correct machine operation and professional maintenance.
For maintenance training, both new and field-used machines are applied in order to reflect realistic service and maintenance situations.
A wide range of AGRUWELDING welding machines is available at the Tech Center, including IR welding machines, beadless welding machines, electrofusion welding machines as well as manual and CNC-controlled butt welding machines up to dimension 630. Cutting and workshop equipment complement the machine portfolio.
In addition to conventional pipe welding, training is provided in further welding processes such as wire drawing welding, extrusion welding and sheet welding methods. A particular focus within the AGRUWELDING product line is placed on fluoropolymer processing. For this purpose, the training facility is equipped with a high-performance ventilation system to ensure safe training conditions.
The AGRU Tech Center includes meeting rooms, an exhibition of the latest AGRU and AGRUWELDING products and a fully assembled product isometry showing real AGRUWELDING applications.
On request, special courses are available, for example for steel lining with laminated sheets or for thermoforming of plastics.
