Hydrogen

Hydrogen

Hydrogen is a key component of green energy, serving as an energy storage, fuel, and raw material. The electrolysis process for H2 production requires a significant amount of water. In hydrogen projects, seawater is transported via AGRU XXL pipes to desalination plants, treated with AGRUCHEM, and purified in PURAD piping systems in ultrapure water plants. In PEM electrolysis, the purified water is directly converted into H2. In alkaline electrolysis (AEM), potassium hydroxide (KOH) is mixed with water and transported from the production site to the electrolysis plant through AGRUCHEM products. Within the electrolysis plant, the diluted potassium hydroxide is reliably transported or stored AGRUCHEM polymer tanks and piping systems. The H2 gas can then be stored in tanks lined with semi-finished products and transported to end customers using the certified AGRULINE H2ready piping system.

AGRULINE

PE 100-RC has been tested for transporting 100% hydrogen
Hydrogen must be transported safely across the distribution network from storage facilities (such as high-pressure above-ground storage and underground caverns) to consumers. The AGRULINE piping system made of PE 100-RC offers a cost-effective, reliable and low-maintenance solution for this purpose. In addition to meeting the pertinent standards EN 1555-1-3, ÖVGW QS-G 392, ÖVGW GB 210 and HE 200, the AGRULINE product range has been tested by the DBI (Gas Technological Institute) for its suitability for transporting 100% hydrogen.

Drinking water and water treatment

Semi-finished products

Human, agricultural and power plant water demand will increase significantly in the future. As usable water becomes one of the most precious resources of all time, the demand for water treatment products is increasing. The safe supply and production of drinking water is a challenging process that requires the use of high-quality and efficient products in all areas. AGRU's semi-finished products meet these requirements. In addition to their excellent corrosion resistance and long service life, the semi-finished products also ensure the appropriate hygiene for drinking water. Their very smooth surfaces make them resistant to micro-organisms and fungi.

Semi-finished products

Semi-finished products are usually further fabricated into finished products. In particular, AGRU's rods, blocks and sheets of various thermoplastics are machined using a variety of techniques to produce components or custom parts. Plastic parts made from semi-finished products are now state of the art in engineering and plant construction. The variety and flexibility of AGRU's semi-finished products provide the necessary pre-products for the manufacture of machined parts with the highest application requirements. From semi-finished products to high precision machined finished parts, AGRU offers solutions and technical advice.
