Kanzler Process Engineering & AGRU: A Strong Partnership for Demanding Requirements

In the world of industrial process engineering, success is often found in the details that determine the longevity and safety of a plant. Kanzler Verfahrenstechnik (KVT), a global leader in sulfuric acid and epichlorohydrin production, has relied on AGRU’s high-end solutions for many years.

Our most recent meeting once again demonstrated that when technical expertise meets premium material quality, future-oriented synergies are born.

Driving Markets Together

The latest exchange served not only to consolidate our long-standing cooperation but also to set a strategic course for the future. Key focus areas included:

  • Technical Knowledge Transfer: Exchanging innovative ideas for even more efficient plant components.
  • Global Networking: Deepening business relationships with key Brazilian partners such as Clark Solution and Unipar.
  • Market Opportunities: Identifying new projects where maximum chemical resistance and temperature stability are required.

PFA: The Gold Standard for High-Load Plants

Why does KVT rely on AGRU’s PFA products? It’s simple: Our fluoropolymers are built for demanding projects. With unmatched chemical resistance and thermal stability, they guarantee long-lasting performance where other materials reach their limits.

Reference Projects: PFA Put to the Test

Our collaboration with KVT is proven daily in global industrial plants under the most extreme conditions. Here are two recent highlights showing why our PFA solutions make the difference:

Project 1: Lenzing AG – Sulfuric Acid Condenser

Demanding requirements with H₂SO₄(98%) and an operating temperature of 260°C.

  • Solution: PFA fixed-point lining for maximum stability.
  • Material usage:
    • 500 m² PFA natural (thickness: 2.3 mm)
    • 6,000 units of PFA caps
    • 130 kg PFA welding rod

Project 2: Qingdao – Epichlorohydrin Column

Chemical resistance at 140°C in a highly corrosive environment.

  • Solution: PFA GGS FRP dual-laminate for optimal bond strength.
  • Material usage:
    • 600 m² PFA GGS (thickness: 2.8 mm)
    • 150 kg PFA welding rod

Outlook: Innovation for the Future

This visit has once again underlined that a successful partnership is based on trust and a shared pursuit of perfection. We look forward to continuing to push the boundaries of technical feasibility together with Kanzler Verfahrenstechnik.
