Flexible clamping system for welding FRP Dual Laminate pipes
The innovation in welding technology now makes it possible to apply the proven AGRU IR welding technology to FRP dual-laminate pipes.

The innovation in welding technology now makes it possible to apply the proven AGRU IR welding technology to FRP dual-laminate pipes.
A newly developed clamping system enables safe and easy clamping of FRP pipes with varying outer diameters. This allows the inner thermoplastic pipe to be welded reliably using AGRU welding machines SP 110-S V3 and V3.1.
Flexible clamping system
Fabric-backed liner pipes up to Ø 110 mm
The system includes a flexible external clamping system that adapts to the outer diameter of FRP pipes, as well as internal clamps tailored to the diameter of AGRU pipes. The entire clamping system is delivered in a carrying case and can be reconfigured in just a few steps.
Upon purchase of the system, a license is activated that unlocks an additional menu option for welding fabric-backed liner pipes. Using specially developed welding parameters, all AGRU fabric-backed liner pipes — such as PVDF HV liner, ECTFE SK+, FEP, and PFA GGS pipes up to Ø 110 mm — can be welded.
Standardized documentation ensures complete traceability of each weld seam, both digitally via WeldNET and through a label directly on the weld.
