The current project by our German sales partner Gquadrat in Paderborn for Bremer SE impressively demonstrates that technical excellence and uncompromising environmental protection can form a perfect union.
Today, storage and logistics facilities must meet the highest legal requirements. Especially in the event of an accident, it is crucial that neither water-polluting substances nor firefighting water can seep into the ground.
To ensure this protection, our customers and partners rely on AGRU’s high-quality HDPE plastic membrane liners. These liners have the DIBt approval required for this application and provide a reliable barrier to protect the environment in the event of an accident.
Within a tight schedule of just two months, the massive surface area was professionally sealed alongside the ongoing construction process.
This material was specifically selected to combine maximum system reliability with efficient installation. The membrane impresses with its outstanding chemical resistance and high durability, which withstands mechanical stress even during the construction phase. Thanks to its excellent weldability and flexibility, even complex details—such as the integration of numerous hall columns and the edge finishes—could be completed on schedule and with a permanent seal. This combination guarantees high long-term stability and meets all environmental requirements for modern storage areas.
A system is only as secure as its weakest link. Particular attention was therefore paid to the technically flawless fabrication of the edge connections and the integration of the numerous supports. Thanks to the close collaboration between our sales partner Gquadrat GmbH and the high material quality of AGRU, even these challenging details were resolved efficiently and with a permanently watertight seal.
