Agfa-Gevaert develops, manufactures, and distributes an extensive range of imaging systems and solutions for the printing industry and the healthcare sector. To ensure long-term operational continuity at their Westerlo site, our partner Sealtec Waterproofing was commissioned with the professional lining of a buffer storage basin for production water.
The basin was equipped with a durable, smooth 1.5 mm HDPE geomembrane from AGRU which was specifically selected for its excellent material properties. To provide optimum protection for the construction, a 500g/m² geotextile protection layer was applied, securing the long-term operational safety of the plant, by protecting the waterproofing layer.
